A texas Treasure

If you venture out into our neck of the woods, you'll be greeted with the gorgeous Texas landscape, a wave accompanied by a friendly smile and probably a glass of sweet tea because that's how we do things around here. It's scenic and the cell service is a little shoddy at times, but we think it's part of the charm. After all, peace and quiet is rare these days. Make your way a little out of town and there you'll happen upon our general store tucked in the heart of Hamilton. We're still hand-dipping chocolates, pouring brittle, and making candies the old-fashioned way.  Sit for a spell and have lunch with us at our deli where we'll serve you up delicious sandwiches on our homemade bread. Before you head home, don't forget to peruse our general store for homemade candies and gifts!

Come as a guest, leave as family. We can't wait to see you!

Dutchman's Fact:

our bread is homemade in house!

Many folks from the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex find the Dutchman’s a good half-way spot on their journey south into the Hill Country and beyond.  Likewise, folks  heading north from the Corpus, San Antonio, and Austin areas find the Dutchman’s Hidden Valley a good place to stretch their legs and walk their pets.
